Comics, doodles, paintings…
The joy of getting out a scratchy old nib and pot of ink. I’ve doodled cartoons for years, with a couple making it onto small press anthologies but I mostly draw for fun now (nothing better than laughing at your own jokes). You can find some of my old scribbles on Instagram.
It’s been a bit trial and error figuring out what I want to do. Ultimately I realised I’m happiest when I design things with meaning - when I’m able to tell a story. But to do that well, you need to know who you’re designing for. I love that with UX I get to explore both human behaviour and visual design.
